Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) The Parks and Horticultural Authority Rawalpindi has started the installation of modern LED lights at important places located in Rawalpindi, which will help beautify the city.

During the first phase of project, LED lights having different colours will be installed on the roads and important places located on Murree Road.

Moreover, the installation of LED lights on electricity Towers in Chandni Chowk to 6th Road and besides Chandi Chowk and flyovers on both the sides have been completed. Around Rs3.6 million rupees have been spent on the installation of LED lights so far.

During the second phase lights will be installed on important roads including Rawal Road, Airport Road, Rashid Minhas Road, Tipu Sultan Road and other important places.

PHA Director General Dr Abid Malik said that after the installation of LED lights, the city beatification will be uplifted, while a soft-image and beautiful image of Pakistan will be portrayed for foreigners.
