Islamabad:(Parliament Times) The AJK youth parliament on Saturday expressed its gratitude to Senator Sehar Kamran for her all out support for the rightful representation of the youth parliament at national level. “Senator Sehar Kamran (Tamgha-e-imtiaz) has always mentored the Youth Parliamentarians headed by the Chapter Secretary Ubaid Qureshi and devised prospects for the rightful representation of the Youth Parliament on National Level, and guides the members to keep a positive attitude towards the state rules and regulations and she leads by the example of being an inspiration to the youngsters, as she owns an upright yet pleasant personality which influences the minds of manyâ€, the YP statement said.The statement stated that the recent visit to the Parliament was one of those many examples where Senator Sehar Kamran provided us the opportunity to represent ourselves.
“It certainly was by her facilitation that we were able to meet with the Government official and make our way to many other platforms enabling us to perform our objectives broadening the horizonâ€, the statement added. A delegation of the 17 designated members of the Youth Parliament AJK and Islamabad chapter visited the Parliament house on Monday 15th of May 19, 2017 upon the facilitation of honorable Senator Sehar Kamran. The visit began with a warm welcome by the Assistant Director Protocol Mr.Hammad and his team of officials at the parliament house followed by an enlightening walk through the Gali E Dastoor. The delegation was then led to witness the proceedings of the 3rd sitting of the 262nd session of the senate. The attendance of young parliamentarians was recognized by his Excellency the Chairman of Senate Mr.Raza Rabani and applauded by the respectable members of the senate.
