Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The Information Minister of government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has said that Prime minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s recent speech at OBOR summit in China offered a comprehensive road map for peace, progress and prosperity.
The AJK Minster during a media interview here on Tuesday, while lauding the Pakistan Prime Minister’s political acumen said that the strategy adopted by the incumbent premier has isolated India at international level. “Isolating India at international level is itself a proof of Pakistan’s successful diplomacy and prime minister deserves appreciation for thisâ€, Minhas said adding that Pakistan’s participation in such kind of august world forums help to promote country’s soft image abroad. He said that the world at large acknowledges the hard reality that Pakistan being a sole atomic power holds strong position in Islamic world.
Referring to PM Sharif’s economic vision, he said that Sharif has put the country back on the path of economic prosperity. He said that inclusion of the chief ministers of all the four provinces in the premier’s entourage speaks volumes about his farsightedness and political vision.
He said that by including AJK in CPEC the prime minister has opened up new avenues of progress and prosperity for the people in the region. He said that mega projects being initiated under the CPEC in AJK will also generate economic activities besides providing job opportunities to the educated youth of the region.
Terming political stability as a pre-requisite for economic growth and development of the country Minhas said that at this very crucial time nation must reject the forces that were hell bent upon pushing the country into chaos and confusion.
