Islamabad: The inaugural match of Kashmir inter-media tournament will be held between Daily Parliament Times eleven and defending champion (Kashmir Times) at G-5 cricket ground near embassy road Islamabad on Monday 1st May 2017.
The decision to this effect was taken at a draw ceremony organized by the tournament committee at National Press Club Islamabad. The captains of the respective teams, representatives of management body and journalist were present on the occasion.
According to details Kashmir beat reporters eleven, Kashmir Express, Electronic Media, RIBJA and Kashmir Link teams have qualified for quarter final whereas Kashmir Times, Daily Parliament Times, Sad-e-Chinar, Gilgit Baltistan Journalist Forum, Kashmir Post and Jammu and Kashmir teams would be playing pre-quarter final round respectively.
Trophy unveiling ceremony was also held and kits were issued to the participating teams by the management. The Tournament committee has decided to hold all matches on the same day (1st May 2017).
