Abbasspur: (Parliament Times) Renowned political and social activist of Abbaspur Sardar Umer Hyyat Khan while stressing the need for establishing University campus in the area has said that the students of the border town have to travel long distances to seek education at colleges in other districts headquarters.

Khan said that the lack of educational institutions and other basic amenities in the area serve as a stumbling block in the ways of seeking education. “There is no University Campus in the area as a result thousands of students including boys and girls can not continue their further studies”, Khan said. The non-availability of educational facilities in the area is one of the major causes of our backwardness”, he added.

Khan appealed the president of Azad Kashmir to pay urgent attention to the peoples’ demand regarding the establishment of university campus in the area to address the grievances of the people of the downtrodden region. Khan said that he had always fought for the rights of the people of area and would continue his struggle in future.
