Quetta: (Parliament Times) Principal Professor doctor Arbab Abdul Wadood, Commandant/Vice Principal Brigadier Muhammad Aleem and ten other students from various medical colleges on Tuesday attended the Surgeon General International Conference held in the garrison city of Rawalpindi.
Pertinently the 3-day conference, inaugurated by Mamnoon Hussain, the president of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, was attended by surgeons hailing from different countries as well as meritorious students of various medical colleges of Pakistan who on the occasion presented their research papers.
QIMS student Zuhra Bibi while representing her college presented the research paper had succeeded in securing second position throughout Pakistan. Appreciating the research work of the students Principal Prof. Doctor Arbab Abdul Wadood, said that students usually get encouraged by holding such kind of conferences. He said that QIMS students would be invited in this kind of conference in future as well. The QIMS’ students while praising the faculty said that it was the result of hard work of learned professors that they were able to accomplish this feat.
