Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said the government will give top priority to the development of rural and far-flung areas of the state in the next fiscal year’s budget.
Talking to various delegations here on Tuesday, he said the cabinet has been directed to prepare projects considering people needs. Raja Farooq Haider Khan said sufficient funds will be allocated for the promotion of tourism in Azad Kashmir. The Prime Minister said he himself will monitor budget preparation process and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
Describing Azad Kashmir as region full of natural resources, prime minister said that all possible steps are being taken to keep beauty of the region intact.
He directed the member of his cabinet and PML-N legislators to prepare projects keeping in view the critical needs of their constituents. He said that people of Azad Kashmir would see tangible changes in the state after some time and added that community infrastructure development program initiated by his government would significantly addressed the immediate problems of the people.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that there would be no compromise on the quality of development projects as an effective mechanism of monitoring and evolution has been placed to ensure the standard of construction of projects. Meanwhile Raja Farooq Haider Khan in a special statement said that India has started a fresh campaign against the freedom loving people of Kashmir after it’s failed attempt in orchestrating election drama in the occupied valley.
He called upon the international community to take notice of extremist government of Narendra Modi against the people of Kashmir. Commenting on the death sentence awarded to RAW agent Kulbushan Yadav he said that it is befitting answer of Pakistan to the Indian conspiracies to destabilize the country.
