Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has strongly condemned Indian firing from across the Line of Control (LoC) on civil population of Khambah village of Samahani sector.
In a statement issued here on Sunday he said that Indian forces are targeting innocent civilians in a bid to divert attention of the world from freedom moment of Kashmir. The prime minister expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the families of those wounded by unprovoked Indian firing and said that the great sacrifices rendered by those living along the LoC is part of the history.
Terming India as a coward enemy, the prime minister said that Indian barbarities cannot dampen the spirit of freedom alive in the hearts of Kashmiri people. He called upon the international community, world human rights organization and influential countries of the world to take notice of ceasefire violation at LoC and atrocities being committed by Indian against innocent people of Kashmir. He said that Kashmir conflict needs to be resolved under UN resolution to end plights of Kashmiri people.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan took serious exception of the inaction of police against those involved in heinous crime against a woman in Chikar area of Hattian district. The prime minister gave 24 hours to police for arresting the culprits and warn that police will have to face stern action in case of its failure to book the culprits. He assured that criminal elements will be arrested and brought to justice at all cost.
