Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Education, Barrister Syed Iftikhar Ali Gillani has said the government has evolved a comprehensive strategy to provide equal opportunities of education to people in the state.
Talking to various public delegations which called on him here on Sunday, he said the government is ensuring implementation of merit which would provide best human resources to institutions. He said number of development projects are being launched which would usher in a new era of progress and prosperity in the region.
Saying that construction work on more twenty eight hundreds small and big projects are being completed with the estimated cost of 1.25 billion rupees; the minister warned that negligence in smooth implementation of development would not be tolerated. He said development projects those in education sector would be completed on time. He said that present government headed by Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider khan is endeavouring its best to end the culture of nepotism and favoritism from education department and now no one would be inducted in the department in violation of merit or the basis of political affiliation. Gillani said that PML-N government will fulfill all the promises made with the people during elections and the party government will implement its manifesto in letter and spirit.
