Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The Minister Forests, Wildlife and Fisheries Azad Kashmir Sardar Mir Akbar Khan has urged opposition to do constructive opposition and stay away from the negative politics of allegations.
Talking to newsmen in Bagh on Monday he said there is no substance in allegations of opposition leader against the present government. The government, he said has launched mega development projects in the state to eliminate poverty and unemployment and improve the living standard of the people.
The Minister said Azad Kashmir has become the part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor which would bring progress and prosperity in the area. He said government has also restored merit and rule of law to ensure good governance and to grant the rights to the rightful.
Meanwhile PML-N members of AJK Legislative Assembly Raja Naseer Ahmed Khan, Muhtrama Faiza Ahsan, Dr Mustafa Bashir and Muthrama Riffat Aziz have rejected baseless unfounded propaganda against NTS based recruitment policy of AJK government.
In a joint statement issued here on Monday they challenged the leader of opposition in AJK legislative Assembly Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen and said it is his responsibility as opposition leader to move court if recruitments are being made in violation of merit. They said that PML-N government for the first time in the history of Azad Kashmir gave fair and transparent recruitment policy which has been appreciated by people from all walks of life.
The ruling party legislators said that opposition leaders should present evidences of the alleged appointments made against gazetted and non gazetted officers in violation of merit and without test interview. He said Chaudhry Yaseen cannot escape from the accountability for the corruption and violation of merit during previous government of PPP.
