Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) A decision has been taken to update the record room of district Katcheri on urgent basis.
The decision has been taken during the visit of Deputy Commissioner Talat Mahmood Gondal and District and session Judge Shakeel Ahmed at the record room of District Court Rawalpindi.
The deputy Commissioner has directed the authorities to evolve joint policy to update the record on urgent basis. He assured to provide all possible help in this regard as the record of all the tehsils is kept here. He further said that the record should be shifted to relevant Tehsils so that it could be protected as there is no space to keep the record here.
He directed the in charge of record room to take every possible step to ensure record is not misplaced. He urged the authorities to take measures to improve the condition of record room.
