Bhimber: (Parliament Times) AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said people of Azad Kashmir are prepared to fight shoulder to shoulder with brave armed forces of the country in defending the frontiers of the country.
He was addressing as chief guest at the passing out parade ceremony of Recruits of Mujahid Battalion at Mujahid Force Centre here on Friday. The Prime Minister said Indian forces are targeting civilians along Line of Control but our brave soldiers are giving a befitting answer to their provocative acts.
He said by violating cease fire Indian nefarious designs against Pakistan has exposed. He said that Pakistani armed forces are fully capable of defending every inch of their motherland and ready to foil any aggression. He said armed forces of not only defending the frontiers of the motherland but are also fighting the menace of terrorism in the country. He said India is violating ceasefire agreement at Line of Control to divert international attention from atrocities committed by its occupation forces in held territory.
Our country is passing through trying times when terrorism is threatening the lives and properties of our countrymen. Our forces are fully committed to fight these elements also and root them out completely,he said. Prime Minister also advised the soldiers to make use of their training to the best of their abilities and keep pursuing excellence in their professional lives.
At the end, recruits with outstanding performances were awarded prizes to recognize their hard work. Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of training staff who imparted the best possible training to the young soldiers. Brigadier Nasir Khattak Commander of Mujahid Force briefed the Prime Minister about Mujahid Force contributions towards the defence of the country.The ceremony was attended by senior minister Ch Tariq Farooq, minister for education Barrister Iftikhar Gillani, large numbers of civil and military officials and notables of the area besides family members of the recruits.
Earlier Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan was received warmly by the military officials on his arrival in the Mujahid Force Centre and was presented salute by a smartly turned out contingent of Mujahid Force.
