RAWALPINDI : (Parliament Times) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rawalpindi has imposed ban on holding ceremonies and functions in and outside private and public schools and colleges due to security concerns.
The functions have been banned in pursuance of the orders of chief minister Punjab.
A notification has been issued to all the schools and colleges directing them to implement this order forthwith in letter and spirit.
Through the notification DC Rawalpindi Talat Mehmood Gondal has directed heads of the schools to ensure fool proof security arrangements in their respective educational institutions in the wake of recent wave of terrorism in the country.
Private schools management Rawalpindi have welcomed these directives.
