QUETTA: (Parliament Times) In Balochistan, government is endeavouring to provide better means of communications to the people.

A senior official of Communication and Works Department told our correspondent that about nine billion rupees have been allocated in the budget for this purpose.

He said that nine hundred kilometers roads were black topped in different areas of the province during the previous fiscal year while another twelve hundred kilometers roads would be metalled during the on-going financial year.

Relying to a question, he said that construction work of a modern parking complex has already been completed at the Civil Secretariat Quetta at a cost of 626 million rupees.
