Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Terming Prime Minister Main Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as architect of modern Pakistan, AJK Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan said country made a quantum leap in terms of developed under his leadership.
Addressing a hosted by Member AJK Legislative Assembly, Ahmed Raza Qadri in honour of Mayer Rawalpindi Sardar Muhammad Naseem Khan, Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has steered the country out of numerous crisis, which he inherited from the past government and put the country on the path of development in just three years.
He said that one political party of the country is busy in creating chaos under the agenda of foreign powers and urged the people of Pakistan to make such efforts fail by forging unity in the greater interest of the country. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took the rein of country when Pakistan was about to declare a defaulter state and now after three years the country is emerging as Asian tiger. The stock exchange of the country is touching new heights and development process is perceptible from Karachi to Khyber.
The AJK Prime Minister said that every Kashmiri wants to see strong and stable Pakistan as economically strong and politically stable Pakistan is only guarantee to the early success of Kashmir freedom movement. The reception hosted by Member AJK legislative Assembly Ahmed Raza Qadari was also addressed by Federal Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and attended by Members of AJK cabinet and leaders of PML-N from Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Meanwhile addressing under trainee police officers of AJK in Sehala Police Training College, Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan said that there is a fundamental role of police in upholding rule of law and fighting the menace of terrorism. He said that our police had played an important role in fighting the terrorism along with the armed forces of the country. He said that AJK government took some important steps for reforming the institutions including police department and now recruitment in the police department would be made on the basis of merit and qualification. He urged the police officers to fully cooperate with the government for provision of good governess and an accountable administration in the liberated area
