LAHORE : Pakistan will play their Davis Cup second round Asia/Oceania Group II tie against Hong Kong in Pakistan from 7 to 9 April, reported Dunya News.

Pakistan defeated Iran 3-2 in Islamabad last week whereas Hong Kong registered a 3-2 win over Vietnam at home after a very close contest.

The tie should be played in Pakistan after security clearance, as Pakistan hosted Iran as International Tennis Federation (ITF) gave security clearance after 12 years.

Pakistan would face the winner of Thailand and Philippines if Pakistan beat Hong Kong. The group final would also be played in Pakistan as green shirts had gone to both countries in previous meetings.
