SRINAGAR:Â Tehreek-e-Mazahmat chairman,Bilal Sidiqee condemned the continuous detention of Muslim League chairman Masarat Aalam and JKLF leader Mohammad Yassin Malik and said that state administration is implementing the RSS agenda by crushing and curbing the basic rights of the people and despite the quashing of PSA and his release ,Masarat Aalam is being kept behind bars on one pretext or the other. There is no reason to prolong his detention, said Bilal Sidiqee.
Strongly condemning the arrest of JKLF chief, Tehreek-e-Mazahmat chairman said that it looks as if authorities have decided it once for all, that peaceful protests are not to be tolerated and wherever they take place, they should be turned into violent, by age old tactics of force or torture, to legalize their arrests.
Bilal Sidiqee expressed his anguish over the unabated arrests and night raids in Baramulla and said peaceful people are being chased and harassed by police.
Pro- freedom leader said that these shameful acts of repression have been tried in past also, but they have not deterred pro-freedom people from their path and as history is witness, truth has prevailed in past and it will prevail in future as well.
