Srinagar : In occupied Kashmir, various pro-freedom leaders and organizations continued to pay tributes to the three mujahideen, martyred by Indian troops in Islamabad district, yesterday.

The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, while addressing mourners over phone from Srinagar hailed the sacrifices of martyred youth Aadil Ahmad Reshi, Abid Ahmad Sheikh and Masood Ahmad Shah, and said, “We are indebted to them and their sacrifices won’t go waste.”

“Their memories serve a source of inspirations for next generations. We are indebted to these martyrs and obliged to follow their mission with zeal and sincerity,” he said. He expressed his sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families.

He said that stubborn attitude of India was the main cause of continuous bloodshed in the territory and the root cause of uncertainty in South Asia. “I am sure and confident that we will achieve our cherished goal. Those who lay their precious lives for a sacred cause never die and their memories serve a source of inspirations for next generations,” he was quoting as saying.

The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah while addressing the mourners telephonically said, ‘The sacrifices of martyrs brought the public and resistance leadership on a single platform that will take forward the movement in a unified manner. He said, “The martyrdom grieves us but we have firm belief that the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir will be written with their pious blood.” A party’s delegation visited the residences of the martyrs and expressed solidarity with the families.

Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson Aasiya Andrabi, in her statement while paying rich tributes to the martyrs, said, “We as a nation presented unparalleled sacrifices and we are duty bound to remain vigilant and cautious about the sinister designs of puppets and stooges.” She said that the people of Kashmir would never lend Delhi’s puppets any kind of support. Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori and Democratic Political Movement in a statement also paid tributes to the martyred Kashmiri youth.
