Islamabad:Â (Parliament Times) Terming Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as killer of the people of Kashmir, Jamaat Islami Azad Kashmir Chief Abdul Rashid Turrabi urged the workers of Islami Jamiat Tallaba (IJT) to support the freedom movement of Kashmir.
Addressing leadership cadre of Islami Jamiat Tallaba, he directed Jamiat’s leadership to spread the message of their organization to every university and college, organize the youth for bringing Islamic revolution and playing vanguard role for the liberation struggle of Kashmir.
Referring to Jamaat Islami’s support to the present government in Azad Kashmir, Abdul Rashid Turrabi said his party’s support to the government is linked with drastic reforms in the state. He said matter great satisfaction that government headed by Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan is taking right steps in the right direction.
He said said restoration of merit in government jobs by introducing NTS system, reorganization of Public Service Commission by well reputed people as its members are some of the steps of the government that should be appreciated. The JI Chief said Azad Kashmir and Pakistan came into being on the name of Islam and Islam is the only force that can keep the country one and united. Abul Rashid Turrabi today Muslim youths are target of western civilization and culture and it prime responsibility of the organzations like Jamiat to eqyip the youths with the weapon firm belief on Islam, knowledge and character to face the challenges of the time.
Saying that humanity is in search of a system of governance that is based on equity, social justice and peace, Mr Turrabi emphasized that only Islam can provide such system.  He further urged the Muslim youths to defend Islam against a new wave of moral attacks launched by the west by present Islam as religion of peace, brotherhood and compassion.
He also advised Jamiat activists to play their role for providing an environment conducive for learning to the students in educational institutions, promote unity, peace and brotherhood among the fellow students and use social media for overall good of the society and freedom movement of Jammu and Kashmir.
