Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has strongly condemned the highhandedness of Indian police in Muran area of Pulwama.

The police had resorted to brute force on a peaceful rally, injuring and arresting dozens of people, the other day.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that recent order by the top brass of the police to throttle and muzzle even the freak voice for justice was being implemented in letter and spirit in the occupied territory.

He said that killing of over 110 people and injuring of more than 15,000 others during the ongoing mass uprising had not quenched the thirst of these beasts in uniform. “They (police personnel) flex their muscles whenever ordered by their masters at the behest of stooges of oppression and occupation, but these fascist acts can’t lease them for too long,” he added.

The spokesman also denounced in strong terms the increased incidents of attacks on the Kashmiri students in Indian educational institutions. He said that fascist forces patronized and encouraged by ruling class had made the life of these students miserable. “These inhuman and unethical incidents vindicate our stand that our life, livelihood, chastity and honour, resources and property nothing is safe and secure in India and sooner we get rid of this unjust and forced knot, better it is for our coming generations,” he added.

Meanwhile, the APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, and other Hurriyet leaders including Farida Bahenji, Nahida Nasreen and Muhammad Ramzan Khan in their statements expressed profound shock and grief over the tragic plane crash in Pakistan. They offered condolences to the families of 48 people, who were on the ill-fated plane.
