Nakyal: AJK government is discussing with federal government for approval of Rs 6 billion to build bankers for the vulnerable populations living along the Line of Control in Azad Kashmir. This was disclosed by AJK prime minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan while addressing a gathering of the affectees of Indian shelling in Nekyal Sector close to LoC on Tursday. Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan along with Chief Secretary and other officials flew to Nakyal to visit the areas shelled by Indian army from across the LoC.
 Speaking on the occasion, he said that AJK government is taking all possible measures for the rehabilitation of the people directly affected by recent Indian shelling. He said that compensation amount for the families of martyrs have been increased from Rs 3 lakh to 5 lakh. He said that around half a million people of 13 electoral constituencies of 650 km long of Line of Control have been affected by recent Indian firing, of which 86000 people are from Nakyal Sector who are facing naked aggression of Indian forces. Describing Fatehpur Thakyala as land of Mujahedeen and Ghaziz, the prime minister said that the area is known for the bravery and sacrifices rendered by great people like Sardar Firoz Khan, Sardar Nawazish Ali Khan, Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Karelvi and Naik Saif Ali Khan (Nishan-e-Haider). He said that Pakistan Army is valiantly defending the area with the help and courageous people to defeat nefarious designs of enemy. The prime minister said that India wants to dislodge the Kashmiri population but was facing stiff resistance from the brave people. He said that Pak army is responding Indian aggression with equal response as India had lost its 41 soldiers against the twelve of Pak Army. He directed the administration to immediately provide relief to the victims of Indian shelling and stay in touch with the government in this regard. Senior minister Chaudary Tariq Farooq, Minster Revenue Sardar Farooq Sikander, Sardar Muhammad Naheem Khan, Deputy Commissioner Arshad Mehmood also spoke on the occasion.
