KARACHI (Parliament Times) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has announced three-day mourning over the demise of party’s senior politician and former general secretary Jahangir Badar.

The announcement was made by PPP’s Sindh president Nisar Ahmed Khuhro.

He said that party activities will remain suspended for three days and the flag will fly at half-mast.

Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has also directed the party leaders to conduct Quran khwani and pryaer ceremonies in the district headquarters across Sindh.

He reiterated that Jahangir Badar played a vital role to strengthen the party in the dictatorship era.

He said that his sacrifices for party and democracy will be remembered forever.

Jahangir Badar passed away on Sunday night after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was rushed to a hospital in Lahore but could not regain health.
