ISLAMABAD (Parliament Times) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has said on Monday that Pakistan is capable of countering any aggression against her.

A statement was issued by the Prime Minister House after lives of at least seven soldiers lost in cross-border firing that India provokes as it violated the ceasefire pact again today.

The premier stated that sacrifices of the martyred personnel would not go in vain.

Nawaz Sharif said that India was unabatedly resorting to unprovoked firing in different sectors along the Line of Control (LoC). He said that Indian government wanted to masquerade atrocities being committed against Kashmiris in the occupied valley.

The premier said that the nation would remember the sacrifices rendered by brave soldiers.

At least seven soldiers have been martyred at the Line of Control (LoC) in Bhimber Sector after Indian troops opened unprovoked fire.

Indian High Commissioner (HC), Gautam Bambawale was summoned to the Foreign Office (FO) to lodge protest with over the incident.
