Muzaffarabad: AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan on Saturday condemned the unprovoked firing by Indian forces on the Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary warned India to desist from vitiating peace in the region.

In a statement, the Prime Minister said the whole nation and armed forces were ready and united to defend the
motherland. India, he said is trying to divert attention from the continued atrocities and brutalities being committed by its in the occupied territory. Raja Farooq Haider underscoredthat Pakistan was desirous of peace in the region and did not want confrontation with any country but warned that any act of aggression would be forcefully retaliated. Our armed forces were fully prepared and had full capability to thwart any aggression, he added.

Meanwhile addressing a ceremony held after the funeral in absentia for martyrs of Quetta training college at Police Line in Muzaffarabad Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that police has rendered unprecedented and matchless sacrifices in the war against terrorism. He was addressing.

He lauded police personnel for their efforts and said that the entire nation salutes them for fighting against terrorism. Paying rich tribute to the martyrs, he said that whole nation is proud on brave sons who sacrificed their lives for the peace and safe future of their countrymen.

AJK Prime Minister said that war on terror cannot be won without the whole country’s cooperation and every citizen must cooperate with the law enforcement agencies to secure the future of coming generations. He said that police personnel protect lives of public by endangering their own lives and they are setting great examples by presenting sacrifices.

AJK Prime Minister said that he is fully aware of the problems being faced by state police and assured that their all problems would be addressed on priority.
