KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange saw its highest closing ever of 41,545 after experiencing a 621 point increase on Thursday.

Economic analysts Muzammil Aslam said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan’s assurance to support CPEC brought investors confidence back to the market.

Mutual funds were active on Thursday amid positivity and 561 million shares were transacted during trading.
