LAHORE – Indicating some changes in party’s plan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said final date regarding Islamabad shutdown plan will be announced on October 16 (Sunday).

Speaking to reporters in Lahore, the PTI chief asserted Islamabad shutdown program revolves around one thing and that is accountability.

There will be tsunami of the masses in Islamabad, he added.

“When Institutions fail to function freely, we fail to get justice. We have to protest as no other option is left now,” Khan said.

He vowed to keep all roads leading to the government offices in Islamabad blocked untill Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigns or presents himself for accountabilityover Panama Leaks issue.

“We won t let you run the government,” Khan warned.

To a question, he said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) still inviting opposition parties to participate in the protest.
