Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : A free medical camp was organized at the National Press Club in collaboration with the Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) and the Association of Health and Medical Organizations (AHMO). Famous laboratories and hospitals as well as doctors and paramedical staff participated in this camp.
In this camp, free sugar, Uric acid, Along with hepatitis and other tests, were done while hundreds of journalists and their families were given physiotherapy, eye examination, skin, gastro, and other field doctors did free check-ups.
In the camp, from Islamabad, Maroof International, Qaamview Institute, Institute of Technology Hospital, Capital Diagnostic Center, Premium Diagnostic Center, Ibn-e-Sina Lab, NMRC, Shaheen Medical Lab Islamabad Sonography Institute, and other institutions participated.
At the end of the camp, prizes were also distributed among the participants through a draw.
On this occasion, President PFUJ Afzal Butt, President RIUJ Tariq Ali Work, General Secretary Asif Bashir Chaudhry, Finance Secretary Nadeem Chaudhry, President AHM Malik Sajjad, General Secretary Abdul Waheed spoke and distributed certificates to doctors and prizes to journalists. RIUJ Vice President Bashir Usmani, Joint Secretary Mujahid Naqvi, Majlis-e-Amela members Rana Farhan, Ghofran Ahmed, Nawabzada Shah Ali, Taseef Abbasi Rizwan Gilani and Ali Akhtar were also present on this occasion.
