Quetta, (Parliament Times) : According to the statement of the Attached Department Officers Association, only BSS and BCS officers are being rewarded in the service rules for the promotion of the Attached Departments because the service rules of the Attached Department are being formulated by BCS and BSS officers. The committee approves arbitrary service rules to reward themselves which is grossly biased. However, it should be like the Head Director General or Director of the attached department should be an officer of the attached department because an outsider who is posted in the department for a period of short time and as long as he gets familiar with the affairs of the department, is replaced and a new officer is appointed due to which the attached departments are downgraded. The Attached Department will soon arrange a meeting with the Chief Secretary on the subject matter and present legitimate demands. If our legitimate issues are not acknowledged, all the officers of the Attache Department will protest and take legal action and any officer from outside of the Attache Department will strongly be opposed. Most importantly, the Attache Department Officers’ Association draws the attention of BCS and BSS officers to their performance in the Secretariat and on the field so that public issues can be stirred up. At present, all the affairs of the Secretariat are being dealt with by the employees and officers of the attached department who are posted on the attachment in secretariate without any additional allowances and privileges of the Secretariat, which is a question mark on the performance of the Secretariat employees.
