MUZAFFARABAD:,  (Parliament Times):  Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has launched a unique credit scheme “Small Business Trade Finance” (SBTF) to promote business activities in the state of AJK. The scheme was inaugurated the other day by Mr. Khan Abdul Majid Khan, Bank’s Chairman Board of Directors, who is also Minister for Finance, Cooperative & Inland Revenue and Mr. Khawar Saeed, President/CEO. Under SBTF, the Bank will provide loans up to 5 lakh rupees to the small businessmen and entrepreneurs of the region while loans will be given to the trader community on very easy terms and minimum markup with fastest processing and 100% life & stock insurance. Syed Sabir Hussain, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Mr. Sohail Shuja , President Anjuman Tajaran, bank officers and other representatives of the business community were also present on this occasion. According to the bank spokesman, before launching the SBTF,valued customers benefit from loan schemes like Advance Salary Loan, Gold Loan, Housing Finance, Personal Loan, Car Financing, Motorcycle Loan, Home Appliances, SME, Micro, Commercial, Tourism Development, Healthcare etc. Socio- economic development is accelerating in the state. Apart from this, with the support of the AJK Government, Board of Directors, especially the Chairman, the supervision and guidance of the President/CEO Mr. Khawar Saeed, the hard and team work of the staff, and the support of the customers, the bank is exceeding its targets.
