Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali has said that the statement of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir reflected the aspirations of people living on both sides of Line of Control.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said that Kashmiri people have been struggling for their just right of self-determination according to UN resolutions and General Asim Munir stressed on the same solution.
Referring to Indian Defence Minister and Military Generals statements of attacking Azad Kashmir, Ghazali said that India wants to develop an atmosphere of war in the region and COAS befitting response in his statement increased the moral of Kashmiri people.
“India should understand that it has to solve Kashmir issue in accordance with United Nations Security Council”, he stressed.
Ghazali said that Pakistan is the third most important party regarding Kashmir issue, adding that Narendra Modi and Indian forces should remember that the Pakistani army cannot stay away from the disastrous situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
“Pakistani armed forces are standing as a strong wall with Kashmiris in their struggle for freedom from Indian occupation”, he added.
He further said that India has to be accountable for the atrocities on innocent people in Kashmir before long.
Pasban-e-Hurriyat also welcomed the maiden visit of General Asim Munir to LOC since he assumed charge as COAS.
