FAISALABAD: Under the arrangements of District Administration, the DC monitoring squad equipped with modern cameras remained in action throughout the city, through which continuous monitoring of anti-dengue measures, provision of medical emergency services in hospitals, price control mechanism and implementation of development projects were being monitored regularly. The DC monitoring squad has been directly monitoring and assigned targets from the district emergency operational center established in the DC office and the drone camera is also attached to this service. The Deputy Commissioner Imran Hamid Sheikh informed the Punjab Minister Chaudhry Latif Nazr and Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Punjab Dr. Irshad Ahmed during their visit at Faisalabad. The Deputy Commissioner gave briefing on the working/ procedure of DC Monitoring Squad.
The Deputy Commissioner said that historical initiative has been started to monitor various issues, where the working is getting encouragement with positive reinforcement results in three months.The Deputy Commissioner said that the DC monitoring squad checks the presence of price boards on fruit and vegetable shops/ carts in the markets and bazaars of the city and any violation gets reported on the “Qeemat Punjab App” after which the relevant Price Control Magistrate takes action within the due course of time.
Similarly, anti-dengue measures are being remedied by checking and are informed for immediate action to remove stagnant water. The provincial minister and health secretary appreciated the revolutionary initiative of the deputy commissioner and said that such initiatives need to be implemented in other districts of the province to check the working of various departments in order to achieve the required goals.
