Barnala, (Parliament Times) : Secretary Irrigation, Agriculture and Livestock Sardar Javed Ayub arrived in Sukrana, the last village of Barnala LOC, announced great news for the farmers, along with project director Basharat Hussain inaugurated Mirza Sikandar Jaral’s Lease Field Leveling, Solar Pumping System, Pukhta Khalajat Scheme and said that the government of Azad Kashmir has decided to take revolutionary measures in the Department of Irrigation, Agriculture and Livestock.
Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanvir Ialiyas will soon announce special packages for white-clad farmers and people associated with the agriculture sector, terming food security as a big challenge for the Azad Kashmir region. The government secretary warned that food security is the most important issue in recent times. The government will provide all possible facilities to the landowners in the remote areas of Azad Kashmir. Farmers will be given the price of wheat at a better price than Punjab. Authentic seed is available. There will be ideal production of wheat in Mirpur division. Blackmailing of harvest has ended. The distance between farmers and departments is reducing. Azad Kashmir will be happy, the officers should work harder than before.
