Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : On the orders of Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi, In charge Traffic New Town Circle meet with the school and college administration and other stakeholders to improve the parking and flow of traffic during school and college hours. School, college administration give complete assurance of full cooperation to in-charge circle regarding eliminating of illegal parking and improving the flow of traffic. According to the details, following the orders of Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi Naveed Irshad, In-charge Traffic New Town Circle Ali Rafiq along with his staff officer Faisal Geelani met with the stakeholders including the management of various schools and colleges principals of Statelite Town Murree Road, Sixth Road, Syedpur Road and discussed the problems arising from wrong parking and to provide uninterrupted traffic facilities they presented various suggestions with their possible solutions which school and college administration with other stakeholders appreciated and assured him of full cooperation. In-charge Traffic New Town Circle Ali Rafiq also inspected the parking area outside the schools and colleges and issued a warning to the drivers while removing the illegal parking. Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi Naveed Irshad issued orders to the in-charge Traffic New Town Circle to make some special arrangements and also appoint additional traffic staff during school and college time. CTO Rawalpindi also said that wrong parking and double parking in the city not only hinders the flow of traffic but also affects the beauty of the city, for which a special operation is being prepared and all kinds of resources are being used for this purpose.
