Lahore ; Minister for Agriculture, Punjab Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani has said that according to the vision of Chief Minister, Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a zero-tolerance policy is being implemented to provide quality agricultural inputs to the farmers. Minister for Agriculture Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani has said that the people involved in the business of sales of adulterated pesticides are being dealt with iron hands. The black sheep who are exploiting the farmers will be held accountable. In this context, Dr. Muhammad Awais, Pesticide Inspector Chichawatani raided the unregistered shop established by Hafiz Usman, Sales Officer, Regal Crop Sciences, Iqbal Nagar, Chichawatani and illegally sold pesticides worth Rs.6 lakh were seized under Pesticide Ordinance 21-A and a case was also registered against the accused. Secretary Agriculture, Punjab Iftikhar Ali Sahoo has said that the people involved in such scandalous business do not deserve any concession. Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, Punjab, the Agriculture Department is cracking down on such people across the province.
