Islamabad,  (Parliament Times) :  A delegation led by UN Resident Coordinator in Pakistan Julien Harneis called on Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry at Aiwan-e-Sadr Kashmir House. President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said that the UN agencies including the management for the elimination of environmental pollution in Azad Kashmir and development in the agricultural sector should provide their support and assistance in this regard. In order to provide clean water to the people, Azad Kashmir also has ample opportunities for agricultural development. Along with crop production, North Azad Kashmir also has ample opportunities for raising vegetables, fruits and livestock. The meeting was also attended by Miss Florence Rolle, Representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in Pakistan and other members of the team. UN Resident Coordinator in Pakistan Julien Harneis was also present on the occasion. Florence Rowley said that Azad Kashmir has better human development indicators than Pakistan’s provinces.
