ISLAMABAD: 40 fatalities occurred in the last 24 hours due to novel coronavirus while 2870 people tested positive in the country.
As per the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) statistics 51677 tests were conducted during the last 24 hour of which 2,870 returned positive taking total positive cases to 1,494,293.
The positivity ratio stands at 5.55 percent.
According to province wise details 561,683 coronavirus cases have been reported in Sindh, 497,307 in Punjab, 213,021in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 133,529 in Islamabad, 42,316 in Azad Kashmir, 35,163 in Balochistan and 11,274 in Gilgit-Baltistan so far.
With 40 deaths during the last 24 hours tally of fatalities has soared to 29917..
At least 205,527,345 doses with 1,023,404 in the last 24 hours have been administered so far in the country.
1,393,209 patients have recovered while 1,495 patients have been reported to be in critical condition in the country.
