Generation of wars concept was initially coined by William S.Lind an American analyst in 1980s. Generation in terms of war is a physiological idea or phenomenon which describes changes adopted by people during periods of riots and unrest. Extinction and fatal destruction which practically transformed and modernized methods of war into various segments, in order to constraint the war period or to express dominancy over the rivalries. Through modicum of centuries and decades, several mysteries appeared which was reason behind birth of great disasters similar with 1st World War and 2nd World War. Generation of war is delivered to reveal changes brought upon by people with swapping of time. The era of 1st generation of war began in 1648 after treaty of West Phalia, according to this oact, religious wars were ended in Europe, which were relentlessly fought between Catholic and Protestants from 1618 to 1648 for about 30 years. Almost six million people suffered death in those riots. These were include horses, swords and arrows in open battlefield. Commander, himself, used to be present in the battle ground. The era of 2nd generation of war brings mainly substitute of more strong weapons and further improvement of technology that included, early rifles and pistols. These wars started in the last of 19th century. American civil war (1861-65) is also subjugated into 2nd generation of war. 3rd generation of war tactics were initially assumed by Germans in 2nd World War. With the fresh entry of Nuclear bombs, air strikes and tanks, when Germans invaded Belgium,France and Netherlands in merely six weeks. Results of these wars were so brutal and barbaric, as the main concern and reliability was to bring quick increment in amount of fire. Pak-Indo wars induced in 3rd generation of war. Fouth generation of war is the nickname of conspiracies and strategies executed by strong political and economical nations, who had warm desire for pump of power. Such a heinous intrigues, resulted rebellion or civil war. It is an indirect way , where strategies are planned , which deeply effects peace and progress of specific country. Afghanistan,Syria and Yemen are examplary in this regard. The term 5th generation of war was first originated by Robert Steele in 2003. This war is also called Cyber war. The victim of cyber attacks in confused with misinformation, and brain washed through digital media. Robotics, drones and technology are major or common tactics of present warfare. In addition, some scholars term it as silent war, where, enemy bring off its soft power, instead of hard power and battlefield doesn’t fit here because barely brain fights. Israel’s combat on Iran’s nuclear project, India and China’s cyber warfare and progressive projects that are ceased in Pakistan, are included in 5th generation of war.
