ISLAMABAD: At least 9.6 million families and more than ten thousand retail stores have so far been registered under Prime Minister’s Rashan Discount Program.
This was said by information minister Fawad Chaudhry in his twitter here Wednesday.
He further tweeted the number of families and retail stores is on rise.
He indicated that twenty million families will get thirty percent subsidy on flour, pulses and ghee through this program. 7 lac grocery stores will serve as source for providing subsidy of Rs 120 billion to the families, he added.
