MIRPUR,(Parliament Times): At least 22 persons, including 08 women, were killed and 13 injured, 07 of them seriously after a Coaster wagon skidded off and fell into deep ravine at Manjari village of Baloach sub division of Poonch division of Azad Jammu Kashmir Wednesday morning, senior official said.
Commissioner Poonch Division Ansar Yaqoob told  this Correspondent over telephone Wednesday afternoon that an ill-fated  Rawalpindi-bound  fully-loaded coaster wagon (RIR – 7782) with 37 passengers on board from Baloach town of Sudhanoti district of AJK,  met the accident at about 10.00 am Wednesday while negotiating a sharp turn near Purana Talab at  Bandiyan Manjari village of Baloach sub division, about 22 kilometer north of Kotli district leaving 18 passenger dead on the spot besides 13 others injured grievously, he added.
Muhamamd jafeer son of Nazeer Ahmed  of village Chokiyaan was identified as driver the ill-fated vehicle, Mr. Ansar Yaqoob said.
 Four of the seriously injured persons lost their lives on way to the local hospital in Baloach. Seven of seriously injured persons were rushed to DHQ Hospital Kotli – besides three other minor injured minor admitted in Baloch RHC Hospital, according to the Divisional Commissioner. Two of the extremely serious passengers were shifted to hospital in Rawalpindi.
Those ill-fated passengers lost lives in the tragic mishap were identified as Abdul Hussain, Abdul Kareem, Muhammad Jamil, Abdul Kareem, Naila BB, Maira BB, Muhammad Jamil, Muhammad Mansoor, Muhammad Shafi, Nazir Ahmed, Haroon, Muhammad Safeer, Rukhsana Khanim, Omer Bashir, Abida BB, Noureen, Mujtaba, Rasheeda Begam, Hafiz Adnan, Barkat Jan, Zubaida Kousar and Shakeelay.
