Rawalpindi,(Parliament Times): In connection with the great martyrdom of Imam Hussain (as), his family members and companions, Allama Asad Johari, while addressing the Khumsa Majlis in Dhoke Ratta, Rawalpindi, described the virtues and misfortunes of Ahlul Bayt and said that whoever came under the umbrella of Tawheed, Rasalat, Waliyat and Imamat is saved.
Addressing the gathering, Lieutenant General (Retd.) Athar Ali Shah said that Syeda Zainab bint Amir-ul-Momineen Ali Ibn Abi Talib (PBUH) created awareness among the Muslims by narrating the sacrifices and sufferings of the Prophet’s family and the martyrs of Karbala and played a historic role in advancing Husseini Mission.
A large number of mourners attended the Khumsa Majalis. At the end of the last and fifth majlis, Alam Ghazi Abbas and Zul Jinnah were found lamenting and offering prayers. The scholars, in their own way, express their devotion to the martyrs of Karbala and the philosophy of martyrdom of Imam Hussain (as), his family members and his companions
