Muzaffarabad,(Parliament Times) : Former President of Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Kashmir Assembly Chaudhry Latif Akbar while addressing the assembly session said that Syed Ali Gilani was a strong voice of Pakistan and a great Mujahid of Tehreek-e-Azad Kashmir. Did not bow down to Indian oppression till the end of his life dedicated to the independence of Kashmir, Kashmiri passed away from a great leader but his lit candle will always remain lit. Today, this meeting is the culmination of the government’s lack of seriousness. There is neither a speaker nor a deputy speaker in the assembly. The government bench in the assembly is empty. This state was not built for roads or ministries. The state has some responsibility. The Kashmir Liberation Cell is not for political recruitment. It should be made a state institution, not a government body. Tehreek-e-Azadi is not a joke. Kashmir Liberation Cell should be dedicated to Tehreek-e-Azadi. Government of Pakistan should pay attention to Tehreek-e-Azadi.All the political parties of Pakistan should have a meeting. Of course, the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir should host it. It is not uncommon for a person to shout slogans of Kashmiris. One cannot even imagine what difficulties this person has caused because of one slogan. The people of Kashmir have lost a great leader.Ali Gilani left the politics of the assembly and started the politics of mockery. One of the words of his speech which lasted till the end was that we are Pakistanis. Pakistan is ours.
There is no substitute for the way India has oppressed his life. In the same way, his journey to the Hereafter was also persecuted, Ali Gilani’s body was forcibly taken away by the Indian forces, his house was desecrated and his family and widow were also beaten. The government of Pakistan should not be silent outside a parliament by reciting the funeral prayers in absentia. There can be no other strong voice for Pakistan than Ali Gilani. It is not a common thing to raise the slogan of Pakistan is ours.No one can imagine what difficulties this person has caused because of a slogan. Today’s meeting should have been for three or four days and not for one day. Every member of the assembly should talk about it.
