Hajira, (Special Representative): Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Dr Khalid Mehmood Khan has said that in the current election the markets of conscience have been opened and the conscience of the people is being bought with the resources of three governments. After making Gilgit-Baltistan a transitional province, resources are now being spent for a rubber stamp assembly in Azad Kashmir. The current election is not a general election but will have a profound effect on the future of the region of Jammu and Kashmir. At present, conspiracies are being hatched to tear apart the identity and unity of the whole of Kashmir. “Secure your future by sealing the Jamaat-e-Islami election symbol on July 25 to save Kashmir’s identity and unity”, he added. Legislative Assembly candidates Sardar Sarfraz Khan, Sardar Irfan Farooq, Sardar Zulfiqar Khan, Haji Ashraf Khan, Raja Azam Khan, Maulana Usman Khan, Hafiz Talat Mahmood, Jamaat-e-Islami Saudi Arabia leaders Engineer Shafiq Khan, Mehmood Ahmad and others addressed the meeting. Addressing the function, Dr. Khalid Mehmood Khan said that according to a plan of the International Establishment, the Modi government changed the political status of occupied Kashmir but our rulers sitting in Islamabad failed miserably to thwart this conspiracy. In these circumstances, Jamaat-e-Islami came to the fore and awakened the entire nation. He said that the base camp was bound to play a positive role for the independence of Kashmir but unfortunately every government that came to Pakistan had to equip it. Due to which even the base camp was unable to play its real role. None of the PML-N, PPP and now PTI governments have followed Quaid-e-Azam’s Kashmir policy. The political and moral bankruptcy that today’s rulers have shown has never happened before. Seal the electoral symbols of Islam and thwart the plans of the partition of Kashmir and the ambitions of the puppets of the international establishment.
