LAHORE:    Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that PTI has no threat from opposition parties in the elections of Azad Kashmir. President and prime minister of Azad Kashmir will be from PTI. The opposition demands transparent elections, but it repudiates electoral reforms. No one in Punjab Aab Pak Authority will be allowed to take commission of single penny and full transparency will be ensured in all projects.

He stated this while addressing a press conference on Friday after laying the foundation stone of 72 projects of Punjab Aab Pak Authority for Multan Division and rehabilitation of 11 filtration plants in collaboration with welfare organizations. Provincial Minister for Energy, DR. Akhtar Malik, MPA Haji Javed Akram Ansari, Chairman Punjab Aab Pak Authority DR. Shakeel Ahmad and Khalid Javed Warraich were also present there.

Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the promises made by the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide rights to the people of South Punjab would be fulfilled, adding that the Provincial cabinet will give approval to rules and regulations pertaining to to South Punjab Secretariat in coming days after which a formal notification will also be issued. He said that work is being done uniformly on public welfare projects all over Punjab. He said that the government is committed to save the people from all problems including inflation and unemployment and make the country developed and prosperous. Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the PTI government does not believe in political revenge rather believes in the rule of law, adding that eradication of corruption and indiscriminate accountability is the policy of government because economic problems in the country cannot be resolved until corruption is stamped out.

Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that he was pleased to share that the projects of Punjab Aab Pak Authority were being executed expeditiously. As many as 1500 projects of PAPA will be completed by December 2021, adding that these projects will provide safe drinking water to people in the constituencies of opposition parties in addition to constituencies of PTI members.

Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar met with various PTI delegations, LPG association and lawyers. Talking on this occasion, Governor Punjab said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan is getting stronger on all fronts including economic and the projects of public welfare are being executed expeditiously.
