ISLAMABAD: As many as 39 fatalities occurred and 1043 persons tested positive from COVID-19 during the last 24 hours in the country.
According to the latest statistics by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) with the inclusion of 39 more deaths the death toll has climbed to 21913 so far and number of positive cases has surged to 946227. 888,505 people have recovered from the virus so far. The active number of cases currently stands at 35,809.
Positivity rate of less than 2% has been recorded in the last 24 hours. 54,647 tests for coronavirus were conducted across the country during the last 24 hours. The rate of positive cases of coronavirus in the country has dropped to 1.9%.
