LONDON: Pakistan origin Briton Sadiq Khan has won re-election as London mayor.
Sadiq Khan from labor party has defeated Shaun Beiley from Conservative party.
As per election result Sadiq Khan polled 1206034 votes while his rival Shaun Beiley could secure only 977601 votes.
Talking to media men Sadiq Khan said he was grateful to the people who had reposed trust on him and had elected him as mayor of the worlds largest city.
He pledged to continue his campaign for creating job opportunities and promotion of economy.
I will continue my struggle for the betterment and bright future of London during the efforts designed for containing deadly Corona virus.
