Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Chairman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Altaf Ahmed Bhat termed the sad demise of Chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Ashraf Sehrai a cold-blooded murder by denying Health care.

While condemning the inhumane behaviour of the Indian Occupaying Administration Chairman Bhat said that the Detention assassination of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sahrai is extreme cruelty of the occupying administration. The occupying administration arrested him under the Public Safety Act (PSA) and transferred him to Adhampur Jail a year ago.

Despite drawing the attention of the occupying administration to Sahrai’s ill health, but instead of providing medical care, the elderly leader was physically abused and denied access to medicine and doctors. Relatives were barred from visiting him, and even all doors to court proceedings were closed to seek justice and possible concessions.

Chairman JKSM Altaf Ahmed Bhat has strongly condemned the martyrdom of Ashraf Sahrai and called on all international human rights organizations to conduct an impartial inquiry into the killing of the leader.

He also urged the World Community, International organizations, UN, UNSC, Human Rights Organizations to put pressure on India to release all the political leaders of Kashmir immediately as Covid-19 is spreading like wildfire in India, and the detention centres are overcrowded with no healthcare facilities.
