Quetta,    (Parliament Times) : The meeting chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan reviewed cap and in-cap, new PSDP, zero utilization, 107 priority development projects and completion of previous development projects under the present provincial government. The meeting was briefed by the concerned authorities on departmental cap and in-cap development schemes. Along with approval of PSDP 2020-21 development schemes, their existing status and authorization of funds, zero cost release. The meeting was also briefed on new development schemes, 105 priority development projects, overview of last 77 priority development schemes, development schemes completed last year, PSDP 2021-22 and preparation of their concept papers. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the pace of work on all development projects should be expedited and put up the authorization file and note for the minister. While the overall authorization mechanism should also be improved and the projects that are authorized should also be released in a timely manner. Meanwhile, Provincial Minister for Agriculture Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development, Hafiz Abdul Basit, Secretary PHE Salih Muhammad Nasir, Secretary Irrigation Akbar Ali Baloch, Secretary Agriculture Qambar Dashti, Secretary Livestock Muhammad Tayyab Lahri, Secretary Forest Siddique Mandokhel, Secretary Local Government Ahmad Raza Khan, Special Secretary Finance Lal Jan Jaffer, DG Public Relations Imran Zarkon, Additional Secretary Road Department Habib-ur-Rehman Kakar, Director Planning BDA Javed Ahmed, Additional Secretary Urban Planning and Development Bashir Ahmed Barich and others. Relevant authorities attended. However, the Chief Minister also directed the Director General of Public Relations to make a documentary in this regard to highlight the efficient completion of development schemes of the previous period under the present government. The Chief Minister said that completion of all development schemes should be ensured through systematic and comprehensive strategy.
