ISLAMABAD, (Parliament Times) : Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has said that the anti-corruption movement of vested interests has now failed badly. Calling PDM an anti-people and anti-national movement he highlighted that, the movement has a negative impact on both the economy and development of the country. The Federal Minister also said that failed meeting in Lahore has proven that giving date after date on daily basis is the failure and setback of PDM . The politics of Maulana Fazlur Rehman is is revolving around power only and the lust for power has not left him anywhere and his desire for power will never be fulfilled, he said. The purpose of Maulana’s politics is to safeguard the theft practices of Nawaz and Zardari. Maulana must stop defending the people but should take care of himself and give an account of his anonymous properties and corruption of billion rupees. Condemning the statement made by Mahmood Khan Achakzai at a meeting in Lahore, the Federal Minister told that Mahmood Khan Achakzai has always spoken against Pakistan and the federation and such statements were aimed at promoting provincialism and underestimating the national unification. He also said that the sacrifices of the people of Punjab in the independence movement are not hidden from anyone. Such statements clearly indicate that the anti-corruption movement is not only to save corruption but also to weaken the roots of country. There is an agenda which has come to the fore even before in the form of anti-institutional and other reprehensible statements. The Federal Minister said that the PDMA is circulating resignations on a daily basis and politics is shining on them. He dared PDM members to “Demonstrate your courage and submit your resignation to the Speaker immediately”, but NRO shall not be given”. In conclusion, his remarks that these contrived tactics of the save-corruption movement using good tactics cannot blackmail PM Imran Khan.
