ISLAMABAD:    Chief Justice (CJ) of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Athar Minallah has remarked ban on allotment of plot will stay unless the last affectee is paid the compensation.

CJ IHC Athar Minallah took up for hearing petition filed against the violation of court’s stay order on allotment of plots in federal capital Monday.

The court summoned the detailed report from DG Housing Foundation and DG Federal Employees Housing Society.

The court has barred CDA and housing foundation from allotting the plot since the last 11 months.

During the hearing of the case the CJ IHC remarked “who were the persons to whom plots were allotted despite court’s stay order. Give the report to court. Under what authority ministry of housing kept on allotting plots despite court’s orders. No one will be allotted plot unless compensation is paid to affectees. The ban will remain in place unless the last affectee of Islamabad is paid compensation.

The court had imposed ban on allotment of plots by CDA and Housing Foundation on October 25, 2019.
