ISLAMABAD: International democracy day will be observed today on 15 September 2020, throughout the world including Pakistan.
The reason of celebrating this day is to discourage non democratic forces and to aware people of the importance of democracy.
The events will be organized by different political and social parties and organizations in which speakers will shed light on the importance of democracy in country’s progress throughout Pakistan.
The General Assembly of United Nations had announced to observe this day in 2007 and this day was first observed on 15 September 2008, throughout the world.
